Eastman Kodak Co. has announced four new digital camera models for its EasyShare series at the Photo Marketing Association tradeshow in Las Vegas.

Of the four, the entry point looks to be the Kodak EasyShare C613, a six megapixel camera with Kodak-branded 3x optical zoom lens, 2.4" LCD display, and 10MB of built-in memory. Other features of the Kodak C613 include USB connectivity, an SD / MMC card slot, and power from two AA batteries (with alkaline disposables in the product bundle). Next up the line would be the Kodak EasyShare C763, a camera for which we've yet to receive detailed specifications. Briefly, though, the Kodak C763 is a seven megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. Both new EasyShare C-series cameras will ship from April 2007, priced at $119.95 for the C613 and $179.95 for the C763.

Step up just $20 to a pricetag of $199.95, and you'll get quite a bit more camera for the money - the Kodak EasyShare Z885. Featuring eight megapixels of resolution coupled to a more powerful Kodak-branded 5x optical zoom lens, the Kodak Z885 also includes a 2.5" LCD display, 24MB of built-in memory, SD / MMC card slot, USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, and power from two AA batteries (again, with disposables in the product bundle). Kodak notes that the Z885 offers a maximum ISO sensitivity of ISO 8000 at reduced resolution - a figure that sounds perhaps a bit optimistic. The Kodak Z885 will be the last of the four cameras to ship, available from May 2007.

Finally, we have the Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS - a $299.95 camera shipping this April, and undoubtedly the highest-specification of the company's four new cameras. The Kodak Z712 IS is a seven megapixel camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon-branded 12x optical zoom lens, and as the name would suggest, the Z712 IS' lens also features optical image stabilisation. Other features of the Kodak Z712 include a 2.5" LCD display with a higher-than-average resolution of 230,000 pixels, plus a 115,000 pixel electronic viewfinder, 28MB of built-in memory, an SD / MMC card slot, USB and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, and power from a CR-V3 Lithium disposable or proprietary Lithium Ion rechargeable battery with (you guessed it) a disposable battery in the product bundle.

Product photos for all four cameras, plus specs for the three cameras that we have detailed info on, follow below:
