BIBBLE.GIF Bibble v4.98 released

A press release today from Austin, TX-based Bibble Labs (the company behind the popular RAW file converter Bibble) announces an updated version of that program.

The new release, Bibble version 4.98, is available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux systems. It includes support for the following new camera models:
  • Canon EOS 1D Mark III;
  • Fujifilm S5 Pro;
  • Nikon D40x;
  • Olympus EVOLT E-410;
  • Olympus EVOLT E-510;
  • Olympus Camedia SP-500 UltraZoom;
  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8.
There's also new support for tethered shooting on newer Canon cameras for Windows Vista and Intel Mac, as well as the Fujifilm S5 Pro on Windows only. The program also now supports Fujifilm's wide dynamic range technology.

Two versions (Professional and Lite) are available, with Lite allowing you to select one platform on which to use the program, and Professional giving you access to all three platforms with one registration code. Compared to the Lite version, Bibble Pro adds multithreading, work queues, advanced copy and paste functionality, IPTC captioning support, support for tethered shooting, and advanced Noise Ninja support. Bibble Lite currently costs $70 regardless of platform, whilst Bibble Pro costs $130. A 14-day trial version is available for download.
