Canon Releases EOS Utility 2.0.2, Digital Photo Professional 3.0.2

Canon today released updates to both its EOS Utility and Digital Photo Professional software. EOS Utility downloads images from EOS cameras and controls remote shooting from them. Digital Photo Pro is Canon's image editing software for EOS Raw and JPEG images.
Downloads are available at no charge from the Drivers/Software tab of any EOS camera product page at the Canon site. Highlights of the updates follow:
EOS Utility
Changes from the previous Mac version of EOS Utility in this 27.4-MB update:
1-1. Support added for Auto Power Off (camera) during Remote Live View shooting. The Auto Power Off function can now be used during Remote Live View shooting with EOS-1D Mark III.
1-2. Corrected the Click White Balance during Remote Live View shooting. Fix for an unintended WB being set when the Click White Balance is performed during Remote Live View shooting with EOS-1D Mark III.
1-3. The setting value of Picture Style files will be applied to camera. When a picture style file is set to the camera, the parameters included in the file (contrast/colortone/color depth/sharpness) will be applied to the camera.
1-4. Shortening the initial communication in wireless connections with WFT-E2. The time required for initial communication in wireless connections with Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E2 has been shortened.
Changes from the previous Windows version of EOS Utility in this 31.6-MB update:
1-1. Support added for Auto Power OFF (camera) during Remote Live View shooting. The Auto Power Off function can now be used during Remote Live View shooting with EOS-1D Mark III.
1-2. Corrected "From PC" in Time Setting on the Camera. Fix for the "From PC" in "Date/Time" of the camera setting not functioning properly when a computer is set to daylight saving time.
1-3. The setting value of Picture Style files will be applied to camera. When a picture style file is set to the camera, the parameters included in the file (contrast/color tone/color depth/sharpness) will be applied to the camera.
Digital Photo Professional
Changes from Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1 for Mac OS X in this 69-MB update:
1-1. Improvement of image display quality. Corrected the issue in which jaggies are noticeable in images displayed on the monitor.
1-2. The setting value of Picture Style files will be applied to images. When a picture style is applied to images, the setting value of picture style (contrast/color tone/color depth/sharpness) will be applied.
Changes from Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1 for Windows in this 23.1-MB update:
1-1. The following functions can now be used in Windows Vista:
• Trimming Tool
• Quick Check Tool
• Detailed settings printing
• Contact sheet printing
