The Nikon Coolpix S51c's lovely Wave design, among the most striking of all digital cameras, is crippled by WiFi that only talks to Nikon's my Picturetown server.

Those who don't mind this super-simple approach to file transfer will appreciate the Nikon S51c's VR lens, D-Lighting, and In-Camera Red-Eye Fix: all automatically activated with Face Priority autofocus in Portrait mode. The Nikon S51c's scroll wheel is a pleasure to use, as is Nikon's menu system.

The Nikon S51c's large LCD flatters your images; but shutter lag remains a big problem, and this digital camera's image quality suffered from an inability to hold the highlights in sunlit shots. See our review of the Nikon Coolpix S51c digital camera for more.
