PRESS RELEASE: HDRsoft Releases Photomatix Pro 3.0

HDRsoft announced the release of Photomatix Pro 3.0, the latest version of its High Dynamic Range imaging software. Designed for professional photographers and advanced amateurs, Photomatix Pro combines differently exposed photographs of a high contrast scene into one image with details in both highlights and shadows.

Photomatix Pro version 3.0 features a new user interface and workflow improvements that make the creation and processing of High Dynamic Range images more intuitive. It also adds a second automatic alignment method for hand-held shots and an improved exposure blending method that produces natural looking results while preserving highlights and shadows details well.

Photomatix Pro is a standalone application that runs on Mac OS X and Windows. The software enables users to blend exposures hassle-free and to create 32-bit HDR images and process them using a powerful tone mapping tool.

A license for Photomatix Pro costs U.S.$99. The upgrade to version 3.0 is free of charge for licensed users of Photomatix Pro version 2.x. For more information and to download a free trial version, visit http://www.hdrsoft.com .
