Nikon releases D80 firmware version 1.11

Nikon has released firmware version 1.11 for the D80 digital SLR. Available now via Nikon's support website, the update resolves an issue with incorrect battery status.
Modifications enabled with upgrade of A and B firmware to Ver. 1.11 - An issue that, in some rare circumstances, caused the battery indicator to blink, regardless of actual battery charge, has been resolved.
Confirming the firmware version - Turn the D80 on.
- Press the MENU button and select Firmware version from the Setup menu. The camera's firmware version will be displayed.
- Turn the D80 off.
