PRESS RELEASE: Photobook Self-Publishing Expert Will Join 2009 DSLR Photography Workshop Cruise

Christine Walsh-Newton, a photographer and designer of more than 30 photography books using Blurb's print-on-demand software and services will join four other pros on a 2009 DSLR Photography Workshop Cruise departing Ft. Lauderdale March 29 - April 6 for St. Maarten, St Lucia and St. Kitts in the Southern Caribbean.

Walsh-Newton, who is a member of the Blurb Nation, a group of top professional designers will show attendees how to turn their images into beautiful coffee table books. Blurb will then print each book at no charge. Attendees can either work on their books while aboard or assemble them after the cruise-- or do both.

The workshop is the ninth in a successful series and focuses on having attendees acquire "seeing" skills that will measurably improve their images during the workshop and thereafter. In addition, they will learn how to professionally prepare and market their work.

Each attendee can choose up to $1,000 worth of hardware, software and services contributed by sponsors, many of whom have been associated with the workshop since its inception.

Enrollment is limited to 20 attendees who will be mentored by five professionals who'll be offering one-on-one Photoshop instruction, custom printing sessions and image critiquing in a relaxed learning environment.

Costs for the 8-day workshop cruise begin at $2,332. For further information check out: http://www.dpcorner.com/cruise or call 1-800-652-2267.
