Nikon Inc. has published a new addition to its D-Movie Screening Room, courtesy of cinematographer Ellen Kuras.

The 90-second video clip is entitled "As far as you can see", and was captured using a Nikon D5000 digital SLR. A member of the American Society of Cinematographers, Kuras has received the Excellence in Cinematography Award for a dramatic movie at the Sundance film festival no less than three times. Kuras has contributed her talents to films including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Blow, and Be Kind Rewind.

Alongside the video clip, the D-Movie Screening Room contains a commentary from Kuras on her intentions for the video, and her experiences using the D5000, as well as the 18-200mm, 50mm and 85mm lenses. The Screening Room also contains a previously published video clip from Harris Savides, whose works include American Gangster, Milk, Zodiac, The Game, Elephant, and Finding Forrester.

To see both Kuras' and Savides' videos and read of their experiences with the Nikon D5000, visit the Nikon D-Movie Screening Room.
