Group to Support Major Device Partners Including LG; muvee Also Opens Representative Office in Korea

LAS VEGAS, NV – January 9, 2010 - (Virtual Press Office) - muvee, the pioneer and leader in home movie-making software and services, today announced the launch of its Device Solutions Group and the opening of its third overseas office in Seoul, Korea.

Since 2004, with the launch of the Nokia 7610, muvee was the first company in the world to provide automatic video editing on a mobile phone. Movie Director, the world's first mobile phone video editing software created by muvee exclusively for Nokia (NYSE: NOK) was embedded in over 19 models of Nokia's Symbian Series 60 phones, and featured the ability to download and install from a library of over 100 different styles, years before the concept of a mobile App Store existed.

In 2006, the mobile software team at muvee earned another world's first with the introduction of video editing on digital cameras. Together with Nikon (NINOF.PK), muvee developed Pictmotion, a software that runs on the camera and automatically creates music-driven video from photos and video captured on the camera. Together with the accompanying Picture Project Windows software also provided by muvee, Nikon S-series camera users were able to re-create the same production on their PC in full DVD- quality and burn to DVD so that they were able share the professional looking videos easily.

Since 2007, muvee has worked closely with LG Electronics (LGERF.PK) to put patented automatic video creation software on LG's rapidly growing feature phone segment both in Korea and globally. The addition of a team and office in Seoul enables muvee to better serve its OEM partners and also be a keen observer of one of the world's leading mobile phone cultures -- Korea.

"The creation of the Device Solutions Group is a demonstration of muvee's deep focus and commitment to our device OEM customers," said Terence Swee, Founder and CEO, muvee. "It not only allows us to continue leveraging muvee's rich history in video editing, patented technology and research resources, but also enables us to expand and respond quickly to the fast-moving and unique needs of today's device manufacturers."
