Shortcut Software International Inc has released updates to Raw image processing software SILKYPIX, extending support for six new digital camera models.

SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro v4.1.35.0 and Developer Studio 4.0 v4.0.35.0 can now accept Raw files from the Casio EXILIM EX-FH100, Pentax 645D, Ricoh GXR with P10 camera / lens module, Samsung NX10, Sony NEX-3, and Sony NEX-5 digital cameras. This brings the number of cameras and camera backs supported by SILKYPIX to almost 120, from eighteen manufacturers..

Authored by Japan's Ichikawa Soft Laboratory, and distributed by Shortcut Software in the US market, SILKYPIX Developer Studio v4.0 is available for users of both Windows and Mac operating systems in two variants - either standard or Pro. Compared to the standard SILKYPIX Developer Studio 4.0, the Pro version adds batch processing and renaming, an Edit history, Spot Removal and Dodge tools, several multi-preview modes, the ability to display tone adjustments as a histogram curve, a banding noise correction function, EXIF / IPTC metadata editing, text and graphic overlay output / printing templates, and the ability to save custom settings and unsharp mask adjustments for reuse.

More details can be found on the Shortcut Software website.
