The almost 100 new modules cover a variety of prime and zoom lenses, coupled with 33 different camera bodies from Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony. The vast majority of the new modules are available for users of either the Standard or Elite editions of Optics Pro, but twelve modules for camera bodies aimed at pros are available only to Optics Pro Elite users.

For Canon, camera bodies with newly available lens modules include the Canon EOS-1D Mark II, 1D Mark IV, 1Ds Mark III, 5D, 5D Mark II, 7D, 20D, 30D, 40D, and 50D, as well as the Rebel T1i, T2i, XT, XTi, and XSi. Nikon shooters using the Nikon D200, D3, D3S, D300, D300S, D3000, D40X, D5000, D60, D700, and D90 will also find a selection of new lens modules, as will Olympus shooters using the E-420, E-450, E-510, and E-620. Finally, the Sony A450, A500, and A550 all have a selection of new lens modules.

Fujifilm and Pentax shooters won't find any new goodies in this round of updates, but do have some new modules to look forward to on the roadmap. For Pentax shooters, these include the K-x body module, planned for September 2010 and accompanied by eight lens modules at launch, one of which -- the Pentax smc DA 16-45mm F4.0 ED AL -- should also be available at the same time for all other Pentax bodies supported by DxO, with the sole exception of the K-m. Fujifilm photographers will have to wait a little longer, but should receive their next new lens modules for the FinePix S5 Pro in the November 2010 update.
