PRESS RELEASE: Aragon announces ImageLab Helios image handling application

Aragon Systems, a long time provider of scientific imaging software, has released "Helios" an image handling application for photographers.

Helios offers a low cost but complete solution for photo processing workflow, from development of raw photos to printing.

Photos are always presented with the monitor profile applied and printers with larger color spaces than sRGB are supported.

Apart from standard operations such as curves, color, crop, red eye removal and other, advanced tools such as advanced Distortion/Perspective adjustment, Noise Removal, derasterization and adaptive Contrast adjustment are included.

Photos can be captioned and be organized by assigning them to albums. External programs for special operations not included in Helios can easily be integrated.

All results are automatically saved and the user can start over at any point with an earlier version of the photo.

Operations can be applied to several photos at once and processing settings can be reused later. Operations and menus are documented by a "bubble help" system.

Helios costs €49 (not including VAT)

A time limited but fully functional version can be downloaded from www.aragonsystem.com/helios/downloads.html

A limited free version without support for profiles and multi-image operations is also available.

Helios supports all versions of Windows.
