TOKYO, March 14, 2011 - Casio Computer Co., Ltd. expresses its sincere condolences to the people of the Tohoku area of Japan in the wake of a major earthquake that struck in the area March 11, 2011.

Casio will donate 10,000,000 yen to relief efforts with the hope of helping those affected by the earthquake and contributing to the rapid reconstruction of devastated areas. Additionally, a relief fund will collect donations from employees, and their contributions will be matched by the company through a matching gifts program.

Donation amounts: 10,000,000 yen and contributions by a matching gifts program
Donation recipient: Japan Platform, a specified nonprofit organization

Everyone at Casio sincerely hopes for the rapid recovery of the areas struck by the earthquake.
