We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to those who suffered from loss of life and casualties among families and relatives by the Tohoku/Off-Pacific Coast Earthquake Disaster, and wish restoration and retrieval of a daily life at an earliest.

To express our support and sympathies to the people in the devastated area and to contribute to restoration of their living, Tamron has decided, along with our group companies, to donate a rescue fund through Japan Red Cross in the amount of 10 million yen, and through the local government of Aomori Prefecture in the amount of 5 million yen from the three plants in the area respectively. In addition, a chest box has been installed by our employees to collect token monies for those who suffered and suffering.
