Fuji announces FinePix 6900 Zoom - HUGE pics ;)

Fuji Germany shows a new FinePix digicam at CeBIT 2001...
Fuji Germany has today announced the FinePix 6900Z digital camera. Featuring the same 3.3 megapixel SuperCCD image sensor and 6.02 file size as the existing FinePix 6800Z announced at the start of last month, and the same body aesthetic and 6x optical zoom lens as the FinePix 4900Z announced on August 1 2001, Fuji says the camera is aimed at the top level of the consumer digicam market, and 'also does justice to the requirements of professionals'.
Our friends at LetsGoDigital.nl in Holland were fortunate to see the FinePix 6900Z on the show floor at CeBIT 2001 today, and have given us permission to use the following image which they took of the camera...

At this time, information on the FinePix 6900 Zoom is extremely sparse, so we are holding off on adding it into our database until we know more. Here's what we do know about the camera: - Fuji FinePix 6900 Zoom digital camera
- Same lens and similar magnesium alloy body to the FinePix 4900 Zoom, but chassis is black instead of silver
- Same 1/1.7" 3.30 megapixel SuperCCD image sensor as the FinePix 6800 Zoom, with resulting 2832 x 2128 pixel (6.02 megapixel) interpolated maximum image size
- Lens is 6x optical zoom, 7.8 - 46.8mm (equivalent to 35 - 210mm on a 35mm camera). f/2.8 (wide) / 3.1 (tele) - f/11
- 0.55" Eye Level LCD viewfinder with 110,000 pixels
- Built-in flash
- Hot shoe for external flash
- Auto and manual focusing, exposure, white balance
- Exposure compensation
- Self-timer
- AVI video capability, 320 x 240 pixels for up to 160 seconds per clip.
- German release intended for June 2001, pricing undecided.
Other details can be guessed by looking at the specs for the FinePix 4900Z and 6800Z, but are by no means guaranteed to be the same. ;) Following is one more photo of the camera, this time a press photo from Fuji themselves. erzeugen kann. Dieses entspricht einer Aufl�sung von 2832 x 2128
Pixel.
Zu den Highlights der FinePix 6900 Zoom geh�rt auch die
Videofunktion im AVI Modus von 320 x 240 Pixel. Die maximale
Aufzeichnungszeit betr�gt 160 Sekunden pro Clip. Design-orientierte
K�ufer werden zudem von dem futuristischen Design der FinePix 6900
Zoom und dem Geh�use aus einer Magnesium-Legierung fasziniert
sein. Bei dessen Design wurde auf eine besonders ergonomische
Anordnung der Bedienungstasten geachtet.
Die Produkteinf�hrung der FinePix 6900 Zoom ist in Deutschland f�r
