Latest Japanese announcements are equivalents of cameras already announced stateside...

Yamada Kumio's digitalcamera.gr.jp website today reports on two new digital camera announcements from Olympus Japan. The Olympus C-100 and C-200ZOOM digital cameras are both Japanese equivalents of cameras that have already been announced in the USA. The C-100 matches up with Olympus USA's D-370, announced earlier this morning. The C-200ZOOM meanwhile is a Japanese version of the D-510 Zoom digital camera which was first detailed in our news item of May 8th, 2001.

Full specifications for both cameras can be seen by clicking on the links above to our earlier news coverage. The Olympus C-100 will retail for ¥32,000 (US$266), and the C-200ZOOM for ¥56,000 (US$466) when they reach the market near the end of this month...
