EZ Digital 1.3 offers 1.3 megapixel resolution, 8MB memory, CF slot, LCD and USB connectivity - but what will the pricing be?

Kyocera has announced a new entry-level digital camera in a press release which slipped by us at the end of last month, our friends at LetsGoDigital.nl point out. Pricing and availability for the new camera have yet to be announced, and specifications are a bit sparse, but essentially the Kyocera EZ Digital 1.3 is a fixed focus, fixed focal length unit with 8MB of built in memory, and CompactFlash storage. The camera has a resolution of 1.3 megapixels, both real image optical and 1.8" LCD viewfinders, USB and video connectivity and a built-in flash.

KYOCERA EZ DIGITAL 1.3 CAMERA MAKES TAKING AND E-MAILING DIGITAL PICTURES A SNAP

SOMERSET, NJ - E-mailing photographs is the number one use of digital cameras around the world and the new, easy-to-use, Kyocera EZ Digital 1.3 makes doing so simpler than ever. The new camera from Kyocera, well known for its Contax and Yashica lines of cameras, comes complete with ArcSoft Instant e-mail software that makes emailing images a snap.

The EZ Digital 1.3 features multiple resolution modes that make it the perfect camera for creating and sending online images. The 640 X 480 mode is ideal for sending images via email. The image created in this mode is small enough to send quickly and will be universally accepted by computers around the world. The 1280 X 960-resolution mode on the EZ Digital 1.3 is perfect for printing superb 5" X 7" prints.

The 2X digital zoom and fast f2.8 lens ensure that users not only close in on the action they are photographing, but fully capture all of that action as well. The ability to shoot the smallest pictures in macro mode and the most distant in infinity mode, as well as being able to focus anywhere in between, means that photographers always get the best pictures possible. Composing photographs is equally simple using either the camera's 1.8" color LCD monitor or the real-time optical viewfinder.

The Kyocera EZ Digital 1.3 also offers a host of features that make it the only digital camera one will ever need, including:
