Dave tries out a sibling to the Stylus Photo 780 with built-in flash slots and direct-from-flash printing...

The second Epson printer we've reviewed is the brand new Stylus Photo 785EPX. Built on the same print engine as the 780, the 785EPX includes a powerful processor to let you print directly from your digicam memory cards, bypassing the computer entirely. It also implements Epson's PRINT Image Matching technology, which brings significant color improvements (especially to skin tones) to prints from digicams that support the technology. (Like Epson's 3100Z, which we reviewed recently also.) If you're looking for a great standalone printing solution, the 785EPX deserves serious consideration. Check it out!
