The Camera Bag: White “Stormtrooper” Version of Leica M9-P

No, this is not necessarily a camera you would ever own but it sure looks pretty.

As is their wont, Leica has unveiled a limited edition version of the 18-megapixel Leica M9-P digital rangefinder in Star Wars "Stormtrooper" white. (Ok, Leica's not actually calling it Star Wars "Stormtrooper" white; that's just our geeky shorthand.)

Unless you have a lot of disposable income and live in Japan, you probably won't be owning this beautiful camera though. The Leica M9-P white limited edition is only selling in the Japanese market as a kit with a silver Noctilux 50mm f/0.95 lens and white leather strap for what translates to a whopping $31,000 (2,625,000 yen).

Oh, and only 50 of these white beauties are being made.
