The Camera Bag: 4X5 Camera Made from a 150-Year-Old Human Skull

This is, admittedly, pretty bizarre (and a bit gruesome) but it's a weird Friday and that's just the kind of mood we're in.

This 4x5 camera you see on the right was made from aluminum, titanium, brass, silver, gemstones and, yes, the 150-year-old skull of a 13-year-old girl.

Basically, it's a pinhole camera that performs not unlike the pinhole camera made from a pine nut we reported on last month.

Light enters the "third eye" at the top of the skull over time, which exposes the film in the middle of the skull to create an image. The results, see below, are almost as creepy as the camera itself.

Seems like the "Third Eye Camera" should be added to this list of The Most Bizarre Cameras on Earth.
