Noisy-typer-logoNo, this doesn't have anything to do with photography but the writer in us thinks it's pretty neat.

Called Noisy Typer, it's a free OS X app that makes your computer simulate the clickety-clack sound of a traditional manual typewriter as you pound away on your computer keyboard.

The app, which you can download here, works across multiple applications (Word, email, web), mimicking not only the sound of keystrokes but the thump of a manual space bar, the ding of a carriage return, and the paper scroll sound when you scroll up or down.

The Noisy Typer app was developed by Theo Watson as a F.A.T. (Free Art and Technology) speed project. It currently only works for OS X for Mac.
