What is it about these underwater dogs photos that the Internet just can't seem to get enough of? A few weeks ago we posted this super slow motion video of dogs catching balls underwater and got a great response from Imaging Resource readers.

Now here's a behind-the-scenes video from ABC News of Seth Casteel, the photographer who created the original underwater dogs photos, showing how he creates these striking images.

Casteel recently published a book of photos called, what else, Underwater Dogs, and took part in the below video from Good Morning America to promote the book and explain his technique.

"I'm drawn to the emotion of dogs," Casteel says in the clip. "Cause when they jump in the pool, you see all these different things happening. You see primal, you see hilarious, you see focus. You just never know what you're gonna get."
