Fujifilm X-E1 compact system camera now on sale in U.S. for $1,000

Photographers waiting for the highly anticipated 16.3-megapixel Fujifilm X-E1 to go on sale in the United States can officially break out their credit cards. The retro-style compact system camera is now on sale at several U.S.-based retailers, including Adorama and Amazon for $1,000, body only.

The Fuji X-E1, which comes in a black and a silver two-tone version, is also available for pre-order as a kit with the XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS zoom lens, at those locations.
