GoPro camera captures jaw-dropping footage of female diver hitching ride on a great white shark

GoPro cameras are popular because their portability and ruggedness lets them capture extreme footage in places that didn't seem possible just a few years ago. Yesterday, for instance, we shared this video of a GoPro that was nearly swallowed by a hungry lioness, but was still able to record remarkable inside-the-mouth footage.
Today, here's another jaw-dropping GoPro clip from the animal world. It was shot with an HD Hero2 camera and shows veteran free diver Ocean Ramsey (yes, that's really her name!) latching onto the dorsal fin of a great white shark in the coastal waters of Mexico to get the ride of her life.
"We wanted to show that this is what they're really like -- not the Hollywood movie where you put a drop of blood in the water and the animals go crazy," Ramsey, a Hawaii-based conservationist, told the Daily Telegraph.
