The new Transit AW bags from Lowepro include the Transit Backpack 350 AW and Transit Sling 250 AW and and both look pretty sleek and handy. The Transit Backpack 350 AW ($119.99) is a traditional, two-strap pack with room to fit a pro DSLR with a lens attached (up to 70-200mm for side access, or 300mm when stored vertically); 1-2 extra lenses; a flash and accessories; a compact tripod; and a 15-inch laptop.
The Transit Sling 250 AW ($99.99) is a one-strap, sling-style bag that can fit a DSLR with an attached lens (up to 24-700mm for side access, or 70-200mm when stored vertically) or a mirrorless/CSC kit; 1-2 extra lenses; flash and accessories; compact tripod; and a 10-inch tablet computer.
Along with helping you comfortably carry your gear during long photo treks, the Transit AW series bags are designed for quick access and easy organization. Both offer fast opening side pockets so you can quickly grab a camera through a zippered compartment when the backpack or sling bag is rotated from the back to the front.
Inside, the bags offer protected, dedicated spots for all your gear along with a separate, padded slot for a laptop (in the backpack) or a tablet (in the sling). Meanwhile, Lowepro's UltraFlex fit system helps you organize the bags exactly the way you want them, using the central flex divider, lens cradle and other, smaller dividers. All the dividers are padded to swaddle your precious camera gear. They also include hook/loop fasteners for easy adjustment.
