If you've ever bought a book through Amazon (and who hasn't?), then you might qualify for getting a digital edition of the title on the cheap — and that goes for photography books, too.

Amazon just rolled out a new program called Kindle MatchBook. For thousands of books, if you bought them new through Amazon, you'll be able to pick up the Kindle version $2.99 or less (some even free). The full title list is more than 74,000 books, and that includes 230 photography titles.

The books available are something of a hodge-podge. You have general guidebooks, gear specific guides, historical pieces, art books, and more.

To see if any of the books you've picked up (be they photo or otherwise) are included in Kindle MatchBook, head over to the main page and hit the "Find your Kindle MatchBook titles" button. That will search through your account, and tell you if anything qualifies.

Hopefully, with more and more ebooks being added to the Kindle library, MatchBook will continue to expand, and even more titles may be included.
