With the recent explosion in popularity of drone based photography and video, you're probably wondering how best to put footage from a flying machine to use. The folks at Adobe have put together an excellent, step by step video of how to take a series of images from a GoPro Hero3 on a DJI Phantom, and turn them into a panorama using Photoshop CC.

It would be extremely easy for a tutorial like this to just suggest using photomerge or a similar tool. But instead, Russell Brown goes exactingly through each and every step needed to set up the images, correct them, bring them all into Photoshop, the different ways of creating a panorama, and then the image tweaking that goes on afterwards. The tutorial video is almost half an hour long, but is extremely detail oriented.

Even if you don't happen to have a drone and mounted camera floating around, this tutorial is relevant enough that it'll be useful for anyone attempting to put together a panorama. And Brown delves into enough depth that you'll actually have an understanding of why the final image comes out like it does.
