As we work to finalize our Pentax K-3 review -- part two of our Shooter's Report is under way and coming soon -- we just ticked another checkbox on the road to completion. If you've been anxiously awaiting our detailed Pentax K-3 test results, the wait is over: Our lab work is all done, the numbers have been crunched, and the full results are now online.
Among the new info, you'll find a raft more lab test images and sample image crops, plus our Pentax K-3 performance page, providing a detailed rundown of the APS-C flagship's timing and performance figures. And the exposure page will give an in-depth look at all aspects of the Pentax K-3's images, including resolution, sensitivity / noise levels, exposure, white balance, and a whole lot more besides. (We still have a couple of questions to answer about HDR imaging, but we'll dot those i's and cross the t's shortly.)
The high ISO noise reduction page takes a more in-depth look at noise handling. The just-published optics page, meanwhile, takes a look at the Pentax K-3's 18-135mm weather-sealed kit lens and 100% pentaprism viewfinder, and the Flash page looks at the K-3's built-in popup strobe.
Plenty to tell you what you want to know about the Pentax K-3, in other words. We don't typically announce when these sections are added to our reviews, but given the anticipation we're hearing from readers, we thought we'd call attention to them this time around.
