CollageMo makes getting your photographs on your wall easier than ever

 

Getting your artwork from your computer onto your wall can sometimes be a job in and of itself. CollageMo is looking to change that though, with a new service that allows you to easily create custom aluminum prints and collages for your wall, all from the convenience of your iOS device.

Created by Lamplighter Labs, CollageMo takes an approach similar to what Mosaic does with photo books, but brings it to your wall. With templates ranging from simple 4-panel designs to much more elaborate 15-panel designs, you can use photographs from your phone or link up your Instagram and Facebook accounts to use images from there.

One-by-one, you simply tap on an empty spot of the template and add your image(s). If you’d prefer an easier method, there’s also a ‘magic collage’ function that will automatically choose and compose photographs from an album you choose.

The images are printed on aluminum standout panels using a dye sublimation process, which means the prints will look sharp and quite literally last a lifetime. Considering the designated layouts are modular in nature, once you receive your collage, you can stick with your predefined layout or create your own, custom look.

As for getting the prints on the wall, CollageMo uses a clever mounting system. With an included peg and mount on the back of the print, you won’t need to bring in your entire toolbox to get the them hung up on a wall. We do suggest using a level though.
