Fujifilm’s Pro Rental Service now live in the US

Almost a month ago to date, Fujifilm announced they would soon be begin a rental service for Fuji Professionals. Today, the service goes live, allowing would-be buyers to take for a test drive Fuji’s X-series camera bodies and Fujinon XF lenses.
Gear can be rented for three or seven days at a time. Price varies depending on what camera bodies and/or lenses are rented. Below are a list of the currently available lenses and cameras, with prices displayed for a 3 day and 7 day period, respectfully:

- XF 14mm f/2.8 R - $48/68
- XF 35mm f/1.4 R - $35/50
- XF 16–55mm f/2.8 R L OIS WR - $83/120
- XF 50–140mm f/2.8 R L OIS WR - $52/75
- XF 18–135mm f/3.5–4.8 R LM OIS - $35/57
- XF 18–55mm f/2.8–4 R L OIS- $23/35
- XF 56mm f/1.2 R - $52/75

- XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD - $78/120

As previously mentioned, Fujifilm shooters who need to send in their own gear for repair will be able to rent gear at a discounted rate for the time their gear is in the shop. Shipping is also simple, as promised. Just place the gear back in the box it arrived in and attach the included FedEx return label.
Fujifilm also makes clear that any new gear it announces won’t be available through this program until two months after its market release date.
