Post-processing in the digital age might be more streamlined and cost-effective than the analog days, but it’s no less confusing. With a few exceptions, the learning curve is still there and with each new plugin and update, it seems as though it increases.

To help with that is a new guide from Polarr, a browser-based editing program. Separate from its main website, Polarr’s new guide is a visual and interactive site that helps to break down the various terminology and techniques involved in post-processing digital images

The interface of the website is simple, with the left-hand column acting as the glossary. After clicking on a particular term, you’re presented with a collection of images, demonstrations and animations to help you more easily digest the information.

Head on over to the site and take it for a spin. Be sure to share it with any new photographers in your life as well. Good karma never hurts.
