Apparently, tiger sharks aren’t fond of having their photo taken.

As seen in the below video, two divers were capturing underwater images of tiger sharks in the Bahamas when one of the sharks decided it was time for the photography to stop. It grabbed the diver’s unknown camera setup and started taking off with it. The diver held on for an impressive amount of time, but eventually let go as the shark carried on with the rig in its mouth.

We have found no information on whether or not the diver ever recovered his underwater camera rig. For the sake of his wallet (and the environment), we hope he did.

This isn’t the first time tiger sharks in particular have been thefts of camera gear. PetaPixel notes two other instances where tiger sharks have made off with camera gear, one of which was a $15,000 camera rig.
