‘How Much Should I Charge For Photography?’

Despite being in the middle of a big move, which he explained in this video, Ted Forbes of The Art of Photography continues to put out great videos. Case in point is a video he recent video he created answering the question ‘How Much Should I Charge For Photography?’
In the seventeen minute video, Forbes takes a fair and balanced approach to determining how much you should charge for your work, whether it’s a print or commercial photoshoot. To do this, Forbes lays out three main concepts that will help guide you in the right direction in regards to what your prices will be: Perception, Cost and Risk.
The video is one of the best guides I’ve come across on the topic – a topic that is very rarely talked about considering its personal nature to many. Press play and take notes, be them mental or physical. It will save you many headaches down the road.
