Sony RX100 IV Field Test: Plenty of power in your pocket

Need an all-around powerhouse camera that's capable of high quality stills and 4K video, in both good lighting and low-light situations? How about one that also simply slips into your pocket? Well, according to photographer Jeremy Gray, the new high-powered Sony RX100 IV just might do the trick.
Touring around the beautiful vistas of New England, Jeremy's in-depth Sony RX100 IV Field Test provides an all-over look at Sony's fourth-generation RX100-series pocket cam. Sporting a brand new 20.1-megapixel 1-inch-sensor with a unique stacked design, the camera is all about high performance, with up to 16 frames-per-second burst shooting, 4K Ultra HD video, and even super-fun High Frame Rate video capabilities.
In Jeremy's Field Test, he puts the camera to the test with a variety of landscape, seascape and nature shooting as well as macro-like close-up photography and nighttime scenes. He also dives into the RX100 IV's expansive video features including 4K UHD resolutions and its cool high frame-rate mode as well as examine the camera's Wi-Fi capabilities.
At the end of the day, Jeremy seems to have walked away quite impressed with the latest premium pocket camera from Sony's RX line. As a DSLR guy, he was very smitten with the size, the lens's performance and the overall image quality. Of course, there were a hiccups and nitpicks he experienced in his time with the camera.
