If you want to improve your photography skills but don't want to shell out the big bucks to do it, Shotkit has an excellent resource for you. The site has compiled a list of over 50 free books about photography covering a wide range of topics. While you will want to check out the full list for yourself to find topics of interest, the variety of content covered includes PhotoShelter's Selling Fine Art Photography, Thomas Leuthard's Explore Flickr which is a book with lessons applicable to improving your exposure across all of social media, and Nigel Hicks' Exposure: Understanding Light.

Details on how to download all of these free books are available here. If you're looking for more detailed books -- although some of these free resources are themselves very detailed -- Shotkit also has a list of 30 "inspirational books for photographers." These aren't free, but they do come highly recommended by a variety of working professionals and experts in the industry.

There are so many excellent resources out there that it can sometimes be hard to not feel overwhelmed. Shotkit's lists of free and paid books definitely helps to distil some of that amazing content for photographers.
