10 years of rentals! LensRentals celebrates milestone, offers great discounts this month

LensRentals has been in business for ten years! This important milestone has led its founder, Roger Cicala, to pen an open letter to all of their customers. Reading the letter is a reminder that their business model was at its creation a risky endeavor. They began offering a service that hadn't existed before, but was something many photographers had hoped for in one form or another for many years.

The website offers a wide range of gear from Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Leica, Sony and more, including medium format and video equipment. Beyond their varied equipment offerings, the company also publishes a ton of testing results to the public (virtually all of their testing, in fact). Some of their recent articles that have stood out to me are: an in-depth overview of electromagnetic focusing, their look at Sony FE lenses and variance and their very recent guide on Leica wide angle lenses on Sony A7-series cameras. All of their blog content is excellent, so be sure to follow it if you aren't already.

To celebrate their tenth year in business, LensRentals are providing their customers a great way to save money on rentals arriving before July 31st. Using the code "LR10YEAR" you can save $15 on orders between $100 and $249, $50 on orders from $250 to $999 and $250 on orders of $1000 or more. If there's been a piece of gear you've been looking to try or if you've got a trip coming up, now's as good a time as any.

Congratulations to LensRentals on ten years in business and here's to many more. They took a big risk and it paid off. Perhaps more importantly, they created the market that lets photographers from all over the world try gear they might otherwise not be able to and capture better images as a result.
