Are you America’s next Top Photographer? $50k in gear and exposure up for grabs

Photographer Nigel Barker is partnering with Adorama to host a new reality competition series on AdoramaTV, Top Photographer.
Top Photographer will consist of five episodes and include five finalists who are all competing for a grand prize package worth US$50,000. The Canon-sponsored prize package includes a Canon 1DX II and the following lenses: Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L, Canon 50mm f/1.2L and Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L. In addition to the camera body and optics, the winner also receives a variety of accessories, lighting equipment, a tripod and bags.
The contest is open to legal American residents of the fifty states and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. To enter, no purchase is necessary, you have to go to this page and submit an image that you've captured within the past five years. Beyond being on the series and winning the grand prize, the "Top Photographer" will also have a photo exhibition in New York City hosted by Barker himself following the airing of the finale. Interested photographers have until 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 12 to enter.
