As we approach CES, Yi Technology has announced the Yi 4K+, the follow-up to their 4K action camera which was announced this past summer. The 4K+ is the first action camera capable of recording 4K photos and videos at 60 frames per second. Details are scarce on the 4K+, Yi's third action camera, but we covered its predecessor here, which will likely share some specs with the new 4K+.

Details are more readily available for Yi Technology's new Erida drone. The full carbon drone uses a three-rotor design, making it a tricopter rather than the more standard quadcopter, and it offers very fast flight speeds up to 75 miles per hour. Further specs include up to 40 minutes of flight time and 120 minutes of recording time, advanced gimbal system, folding rotors, mobile app control and an advanced sensor and radar system.

You will be able to learn more about the Yi 4K+ and Yi Erida drone at CES, which starts next week. Stay tuned to Imaging Resource for the latest news leading up to and during CES.
