Blend like a pro: Video tutorial breaks down all 27 blend modes in Adobe Photoshop

Once you figure out how to achieve the results you desire in Photoshop, it can be easy to ignore rarely-used tools and features of the powerful software. Perhaps there are many tools in Photoshop you simply have never used, either because they are too complicated or it felt unnecessary.
For some users, blend modes are an oft-ignored aspect of their Photoshop workflow. Photoshop Training Channel’s Jesus Ramirez wants to change that with a recent video, which covers all 27 of Photoshop’s blend modes in detail.
At over 40 minutes, the video is lengthy, but it is a resource which should remain useful for a long time and is a must-save for any Photoshop user who isn’t intimately familiar with every blend mode.
The video is a free sample from Ramirez’s upcoming Photoshop course, “Mastering Color in Photoshop,” which will be released on April 12. Additional topics covered will include RGB and CMYK color modes, color correction, neutralizing photos, pixels and bit depth and much more.
