Yesterday we started a new series, “Shutter Release,” where we scour the web to find interesting photography articles and/or videos to share with you. Today we have a new batch of content for you which runs the gamut from an extensive tech guide to a time-lapse of a flower blooming. We hope that there’s something for everyone.

Bryan Chan and Night Crew Labs went to Alaska in March to send a Sony A7S nearly 80,000 feet up in the air to film the aurora borealis from the stratosphere. The crew sent the A7S paired with a Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 lens up and captured the beautiful video below. See here for more details.
