Nature photographer Morten Hilmer recently headed to Norway to track and photograph musk oxen. These beautiful animals make an excellent subject and Hilmer is a very passionate photographer. You really have to be passionate to withstand nearly zero-degree (Fahrenheit) temperatures and cold winds.

In the pair of videos below, we get to go behind the scenes with Hilmer on his photographic journey, from hiking and making camp each night to actually photographing the musk oxen. If you're curious what type of gear Hilmer has brought with him, it's one heck of a wildlife kit. He uses a Nikon D5 with a large supertelephoto prime lens, the Nikon 600mm f/4. Hilmer uses a Panasonic GH5 for recording his video content.
