If you shoot events outside, you'll often have to contend with images captured in bright daylight sun. How do you deal with harsh light? Nathaniel Dodson of tutvid has tips for how to maximizing your dynamic range and edit your photos captured in bright light.

It can be difficult to save shadow and highlight detail when you shoot in harsh light, but Lightroom offers a lot of recovery options via sliders and curves. In addition to showing us how to retouch the image to help recover data, Dodson also discusses sharpening and lens corrections.
