Photographer Anton Gorlin specializes in real estate, landscape and nature photography. Gorlin is originally from Ukraine and has since moved to Australia, so he has seen a lot of beautiful scenes throughout his career. Living now in Australia, he has access to one of the most stunning coasts in the world. To help other photographers capture great shots along the ocean, Gorlin has written a guide to seascape photography.

In the guide, which is broken into 11 different sections, he covers seascape photography in general, safety concerns, how to plan your shots, composing images, ideal seascape photo settings, long exposure tips, shooting waves, correct exposure, a gear checklist, a discussion on the perfect lenses for seascapes and then finally offers a final word. To give you a sense of his guide, this is an excerpt from the composition section, "Leading Lines: In my opinion, this one is the most important aspect of composing a photograph. If you ask me to take just one and forget the others, it's this one. These lines lead the viewer's eyes into the photo and show important elements, add a lot of power and dynamism." He discusses numerous other aspects of composition as well.

It is a very thorough guide that discusses all aspects of seascape photography and as a photographer who spends a lot of time along the coast, I think Gorlin's perspective is as good as it gets and should be read by all photographers who want to capture great seascape images.
