In an ongoing series for Adorama, photographer Mark Wallace asks, what's one simple thing you can do to become a better photographer? Wallace has made over 500 videos for Adorama TV and his photographer friends wanted to know, what's the one tip he would offer photographers to quickly improve their craft?
Get closer. In a wide array of videos for Adorama TV, different professional photographers and educators, including Wallace, all do the same thing and that is to get closer to their subject. Whether you're shooting portraits or scenic photography, all photography is better when you get closer.
