If you're like professional photographer Morten Hilmer, you have a lot of gear to carry. Even if you're not a pro, a camera body, some lenses and other gear adds up quickly. If you're traveling, every bit of weight matters. How does someone like Hilmer travel with over 40 pounds of camera equipment?

In a new video, Hilmer discusses traveling with camera gear and specifically, how to travel with your gear as a carry-on. After all, if you're traveling by air, bus or train, you don't want to lose sight of your precious cargo. As someone who has lost luggage before, I never want to check any of my camera gear. I can risk some clothing, but I won't risk my camera equipment.
