Photographer and educator Marc Silber has produced three videos recently all centered around lighting. He regularly sits down with talented photographers to get tips straight from the pros, which is what he has done with the trio of videos below. Let's take a look and see what we can learn!

The first video is with Fletch Murray, who has been a photographer and filmmaker for over 30 years. In fact, Murray has won a pair of Emmys for his work. He often utilizes lighting techniques that have been around since the days of Rembrandt and Vermeer, which creates a classic and timeless look to his work. In the video, you can see Murray teaching students various lighting tips, including how to recreate the lighting used by Vermeer in his famous "Girl with a Pearl Earring" painting.

The next video is a conversation with Denice Duff, who has experience on both sides of the camera, having been a model and actress in addition to being a photographer and director. Duff offers tips and tricks for creating better lighting without needing to spend a lot of money. Look forward to seeing more from Denice at Advancing Your Photography, as she is joining their team.

The last video, which was released just yesterday, is about flash photography. Silber talked with Jessica Sterling, who is a portrait and business photographer in the highly-competitive Los Angeles market. Sterling has a ton of experience using flash so she has a lot of valuable insight into how best to utilize flash in your photography.
