Jesús Ramirez with the Photoshop Training Channel has created a new video tutorial all about compositing images in Photoshop. It can be quite tricky to create composites, but a little-known trick featured in the video below should help you work faster and more efficiently.

The trick involves "pass through" and this is related to blend modes within Photoshop. To learn about the trick, check out Jesús's video below. He also discusses why clipping masks and layer masks don't work well for this task before getting into pass through, so if you'd like to skip straight to that information, head to the 4 minutes and 30 seconds mark.
