We've tested some really cool cameras over the years, but the Sony RX10 IV has to be among the very coolest! Designed as the ultimate one-size-fits-all camera, the RX10 IV impresses in most respects thanks to a combination of great image quality and absolutely mind-blowing levels of performance. Sony is not exaggerating when it says this camera can shoot at 24 frames per second for hundreds of frames. And as if that wasn't already plenty, that's true even with continuous autofocus and raw+JPEG capture enabled!

As we work to wrap up our review of the RX10 IV, I headed out recently to nearby Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Knoxville, Tennessee for several still and video shoots. As well as testing out this mighty megazoom's 4K, Full HD and slow-mo video capture capabilities, I also wanted to try shooting the RX10 IV with some really active subjects. And, of course, I also wanted to see how image quality fared once the sun went well below the horizon.

To find out how it fared, you'll want to read the second field test in our Sony RX10 IV review for the full story!

Now that we've wrapped our real-world field testing of the Sony RX10 IV, we'll be working to publish our final conclusion soon. Watch this space!
