First we reviewed the 25mm f/1.2 Pro, then the 17mm f/1.2 Pro, and now we're finishing the f/1.2 trio with our Olympus 45mm f/1.2 Pro lens review! With this trinity of fast primes, Olympus offers serious photographers top-notch image quality, smooth bokeh, excellent low-light performance as well as terrific build quality. In our testing, the 17mm and 25mm were stunning, and so it's no surprise, really, to see the 45mm f/1.2 offering similarly stunning results. Image quality is tack-sharp even at f/1.2, vignetting is minimal as is chromatic aberration, and distortion is nonexistent.

What's not to love, right? Well, the price is pretty much the only downside. Like the 17mm and 25mm lenses, the 45mm f/1.2 Pro costs $1,200, which is a lot of money for a lens, especially within the Micro Four Thirds system. There are less expensive alternatives, but if you want the best of the best when it comes to ultra-fast portrait primes for Micro Four Thirds, you can't overlook the 45mm f/1.2 Pro. Check out our in-depth review for all the test results as well as selection of real-world gallery images.
