When shooting interiors in particular, you will regularly face the issue of mixed lighting. When you are shooting with mixed lighting sources, all with their own particular color temperatures, how can you fix the white balance of the shot? Blake Rudis of f64 Academy has a new video covering this topic and how you can fix the white balance of mixed lighting shots in Adobe Camera Raw (Photoshop) and Adobe Lightroom.

In case you're unaware, a particularly big advantage of shooting RAW files instead of JPEG is that you can easily adjust your white balance during post-processing with zero impact on your image quality. If you aren't shooting RAW, Rudis' tips and tricks will not be particularly helpful to you as we are working at the RAW processing level to fine-tune white balance.

In Rudis' sample image below, the original image has a lot of nice warm light, but also some cool light which is overpowering parts of the image. The color balance is all out of whack. To learn how to neutralize the blue tones and better control the white balance, watch his video below.
